Your Responsibilities:
• Networking: design and develop our core network infrastructure
• Technology: deal with a variety of cutting-edge Software and Networking technologies that will shape Bell’s network build and operation
• Innovation: be a part of team which truly believes on innovative self-driving techniques and real-time network management using SDN (Software-Defined Networking) and NFV (Network Function Virtualization)
• Lead delivery on key projects, including identifying and investigating issues, developing project plans, and defining resolution processes
• Identify and prioritize requirements and implement processes, tools, and communication to deliver
quality results
• Apply technical judgment and make progress, resolve problems on technical issues
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and vendors to plan and execute applications and network feature builds

Requirements:
• 7+ years of telecommunications and network engineering expertise with a good understanding of broadband network infrastructure architectures and network systems
• Experience in partnership and vendor technical management
• Excellent cross-functional technical management skills
• Ability to present results to a wide range of audiences from engineers to executives
• Hands-on experience with
o IP networking stack and protocols (IPv4, IPv6, DHCP, ARP, IGP, BGP, etc.)
o Programmable interface
§ grpc, gnmi, gnoi, and NetConf
§ Data model (OpenAPI, IETF, MEF, TIP, OpenConfig, etc.), Yang, YAML, XML, and Kafka
• Enthusiastic to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies (green field), with a strong aptitude for innovation

Preferred Skills:
• Hands-on experience with
o SDN and NFV
o JSON schema and Rest/RestConf API development
o Linux (KVM, OpenStack, RHEL, Ubuntu) application deployment
o Cloud and data center infrastructure
o Optical networking stack and protocols (GPON, XGSPON, OTN, DWDM, CWDM, ROADM, etc.)
