Key Responsibilities

• Support day to day operations of Core Network systems (ex. PCRF, AAA, LDAP, DHCP) in the wireline network
• Enhance and build tools to improve platform and service level monitoring and support in incident and change management activities
• Develop scripts and automate test cases. Support in development efforts where applicable, ex API development
• Participate in maintenance activities, deployments and testing of the platform and new service use case(s) deployed on the PCRF and AAA platforms
• Work with senior architects and specialists in the team for project delivery.
• Lifecycle planning and security patching
• Create and maintain architecture diagrams and documentation
• Facilitate knowledge sharing by presenting and explaining complex technical subjects to various audiences from Technical teams to Management
• Identify, support and implement KPIs to monitor system health and support business continuity
• Lead/support the development and lab verification of policy product, virtualization services and network infrastructure architecture
• Demonstrate leadership skills and interpersonal skills
• Provide mentoring and coaching to other members on the team

Critical Qualifications

• College/University degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent demonstrated IT work experience
• 3 to 5 years of direct experience in delivery of Wireline or Wireless technology solutions
• Strong experience with RedHat Linux, Shell scripting, Java, Python, SQL and NoSQL database technologies, LDAP and test automation tools
• Strong IP network knowledge
• Strong knowledge of REST/SOAP/XML
• Hands-on experience with Nokia NPC PCRF, Cisco Prime Access Registrar AAA, Cisco Prime Network Registrar, Ping Directory Server
• Experience with virtual environment such as OpenStack, VMWare
• Hands-on experience with operational tools using ELK/Elastic stack, Grafana, Prometheus
• Experience in architecting high availability and high scalability systems
• Team-player with eagerness to learn and apply new technologies
• Excellent English oral and written communication skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
• E2E Design and Customer Centric Thinking

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong technical acumen with a DevOps mindset
• Strong Collaborator with colleagues and partners
• Experience in deploying vendor products in cloud native environment
• Ability to work with abstract or limited information
• Ability to deal with multiple concurrent projects
• Bilingual English and French (written and oral) is an asset
