Reporting to the Senior Manager, the incumbent of this position is a Application Developer who will have to contribute in several phases of the software life cycle such as planning, design, conception and implementation of several applications. The incumbent will establish a vision and roadmap for several solutions influencing multiple domains driving by desire to improve service experiences continuously.

### **Job Duties/ Accountabilities:**
- Designs automated software solutions in accordance with enterprise leading practices and design principles
- Assists in the collection and documentation of solution design requirements
- Builds and test automation processes including integration and unit testing
- Analyzes and resolves automation software issues were required
- Participates in peer review of solution designs 
- Supports business process owners during user acceptance testing
- Identifies and communicates risks associated with process automation candidates
- Supports skills transfer by mentoring newly trained resources on best practices and development techniques
- Supports production deployment processes and performance testing
- Bug fixing and maintenance of released application
 
### **Critical Skills / Competencies:**
- College or Bachelor’s level degree in Information technology, Computer science, Software engineering, or Computer engineering
- General understanding of IT standards, network concepts (OSI model, basic network principles, etc.)
- Good knowledge of software architecture patterns & practices
- Good knowledge of microservice architecture and containers
- Strong development competence of following languages C#, .Net core, Angular, javascript is required
- Strong SQL and stored procedure knowledge is required.
- Understanding of SSRS 
- 2-5 years of industry and development experience
- Awareness of agile methodology and change management disciplines
- Possesses good communication skills with the ability to present technical details to a non-technical audience
- Comfortable working in a dynamic team


Developer, Full Stack

### Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Software Developer with 5+ years of experience in Software Development. Interested candidates need to possess the ability to work on highly technical software projects that help power some of the largest budget movies in the world. You will be interested in innovative tech, but also aware of the importance of development best practice.  You will love learning and keeping on top of your game by being a problem solver who thrives when developing innovative solutions in a team environment that are functional, robust, optimised, and scalable. ### Responsibilities

- Develop high quality code and collaborate on technical designs

- Work with a cross-functional, agile team to understand and refine functional requirements

- Ensure new code conforms to standards and meets feature specifications

- Participate in peer code reviews

- Write and maintain automated tests to ensure that software is stable and reliable

- Be able to work in the New Zealand time-zone until at least 10.30 a.m. NZST (If applying from outside New Zealand)



### Minimum Qualifications

- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field with a minimum of 5+ years’ work experience

- Frontend and backend (full-stack) development experience

- Expert level programmer in at least one of Java and Angular (9+) and proficient in the alternate language

- In-depth understanding and experience applying software design principles and patterns

- Proficient software development practices including testing (unit and functional) and code reviews

- Strong technical troubleshooting skills

- Experience designing and working with APIs



### Preferred Qualifications

- Video encoding and streaming technology knowledge

- Experience developing SaaS applications

- Industry training and certifications with AWS and related technologies

- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and DevOps

- Experience in working with databases including both relational and NoSQL

- You actively speak up, collaborate, and contribute ideas to the team

- Experience working in a distributed cross-functional team environment
